Vivienne Netherwood

Initially attending Oxton Art Fair as a textile artist, my creative journey has led me to urban sketching, zine making, handmade sketchbooks and experimental printmaking.

My work is always evolving and currently focuses on lino prints which I hand colour with watercolour along. I love exploring the way my cuts convey a sense of movement and being in the landscape both urban and rural. In particular, I enjoy the representing the way light moves through interior spaces. The contrast of strong printed marks with subdued colour has become my signature style.
