LIZ LEADBETTER

I have been selling her work for around 8 years. I work on calico fabric using my sewing machine to create my pieces.

I am inspired by nature and animals and use free motion embroidery to “draw” with my machine. Using hand painted or colourful fabrics I use appliqué technique to create my piece.

I specialise in pet portraits working from a photograph I create all the detail in the same way but adding lots of heavy stitch for the detail.
I have exhibited my work at the Liverpool Art Fair in the Liver Building and the Rotary Club exhibition at the Floral Pavilion. I can also be found in several gift and home interior shops.
