I have been fortunate to have had a career as an illustrator of children’s books, working with many publishers including Puffin Books, Random House , Harper Collins , Pan Macmillan and Barefoot Books.
It is a joy to be given the chance to interpret the texts of writers such as Berlie Doherty, Helen Cresswell, Brian Patten and Dick King-Smith.
However, alongside illustration work I have always painted work of a more personal kind including Still Lives and Landscapes.
Many paintings are miniature in scale. I work in gouache, watercolour and use scraper board engraving as a basis for coloured prints.
