Mixed MediaLynda’s richly layered multi media collages feature both architectural and natural landscapes. Bold geometric tiled patterns from the Alhambra Palace and minarets from Bokhara on the ancient Silk Road contrast with her ‘Shorelines’ project from a recent Bardsey Island residency.
In her latest work ‘Beyond the Fell Wall’ she has looked at walls being a boundary, an edge, a site for shelter and nesting in an area where she walks frequently, the Yorkshire Dales.
Her background is a degree from the Glasgow School of Art in Textile Design, six years working in design studios in Canada before a teaching career on the Wirral.
