Mary Bryning

Using textiles and machine embroidery to create small @D pieces of work, I take inspiration from the natural world – with aerial views of familiar places and more abstract images from parks, gardens and the coast.  I am experimenting with different printing techniques on fabric, enjoying the varied results from monoprints, botanical prints, natural dyes and cyanotypes.
This year I will also have small stitched landscapes and some handstitched canvas work.
I have been part of the Oxton Art Fair since 2011, and also exhibit with the Re-View textile group.
