Ceramics, Guest Artist
I create wheel-thrown ceramics, using clay foraged within five miles of my studio on the Wirral. Each vessel holds both memories and a sense of place, while serving everyday roles—cradling tea, flowers, or food. My glazes often include locally gathered granite, quartz, slate, and mussel shells, deepening the connection to the land. The antithesis of fast fashion, each of my pieces honours the time, labour, and meaning behind each gram of raw material that I forage. These works are rooted in landscapes that carry personal significance, transforming local earth into vessels of use and connection.
