Laura Jayne Thomas 

Nature’s organic forms – their strength, softness, and quiet resilience are at the heart of my creative practice. My semi-abstract style paintings explore the emotional depth of our relationship with the natural world, focusing on colour, light, atmosphere, and the ever-changing landscape.

My process is intuitive and layered, allowing each painting to evolve slowly and organically. I aim to capture the essence and feeling of a place, while leaving space for the viewer’s own connection and interpretation.

Born and raised on The Wirral, I studied Fine Art at Liverpool John Moores University, graduating in 2004. Life on the coast continues to inspire my work.
