Deb Kemp

I love spending time in the landscape and try and capture some of the sense of space and mood that I experience in my paintings. I work in oils, acrylics and pen and ink.

I explore what strikes me as the significant elements of the landscape – building up layers of colour, capturing something of the shapes and layers in a view or trying to create a sense of space with big skies and open views.  Most of my work is influenced by landscapes in the Northwest where I walk regularly.
